Prague, a city that attracts thousands of tourists over the summer season it also attracts countless ‘beige’ reviews, we will try to offer something just a little different. We at soon is today, like many others, believe the best way to experience a place is through its locals and their culture – Prague is no exception.

For the book lover PageFive in the 7th district will help you lose yourself in local literature along with limited edition prints and zines.

With a Lower East Side vibe, you can wander the streets of this up-and-coming district for hours experiencing the local cafe scene and skater culture.

Stalin Park and the Metronome are the easiest places to access youth culture in Prague — where during the day you’ll see skaters shredding up the place, by nightfall be prepared to party as the park turns into a true party spot.

We loved this city and can’t wait to go back, find some of our other interesting finds below:

Bistro8 This seemed a local hit so we had to check it out, had a great wine menu and the food didn’t fall short either.

Garage For the lover of vinyl and old record players Garage cannot be missed.

Sisters cafe Danish style open faced sandwiches and another great wine menu

The Real Meat Society  For those Lower East Side locals, this might remind you of Café Henrie – the sugar donuts cannot be missed!

Banh-Mi-Ba A surprising find in the first district – authentic and cheap Vietnamese food.
